SUNNIDELL GOLF TOURNAMENT

On April 21st, 2012 we will be hosting a golf tournament.  The Tournament will have an early bird sign up which will be at a reduced rate.  We encourage participation of parent/child(ren) at our event, it's a great way to spend the day together and have some fun.  We are a project that wants to ensure family participation, but welcome all groups.

50 Students Sign up for Build Day

50 St. Mary's Catholic High School students have registered for build day.  A great support from our sister school has poured in recently. We would like to thank the students for showing an interest in being a part of our project.  The students have stepped up and shown that young members in our community can come out and make a difference.  It will be a great day to be a part of and we ask for everyone to come out and show your support!  We need more volunteers for build day, spread the word!

Stone Soup Night

J.L. Jordan Catholic School's Legacy Yard Improvement Project has been progressing well. The design of the play structures has been completed, our fundraising efforts have been very successful and we have over 150 volunteers signed up to join us for our extreme makeover build day on Saturday May 5th!!

We would like to extend an invitation for you and your family to join us at J.L. Jordan for a "Stone Soup Night". "Stone Soup" is an old folk story that is usually told as a lesson in cooperation and sharing.

During this event we will be displaying our design and updating the community on the status of our project.

Every Stone Makes a Difference

Today we received our first load of materials that will go into the Legacy Yard Project.  Thanks to Atlas Blocks in Brockville, who donated 30 medium Pewter stones to be used with plaques on our yard.  We are very excited and thankful to Atlas Blocks for the donation.

Treasure Sale (March 24th, 2012) Donate your gently used items OR visit our Treasure Sale and support our playground project OR do both!

BUILD DAY (May 5th, 2012) A full day of extreme yard makeover! We need 200+ volunteers! We are half way but we need you to encourage friends and family to come out and join us! Leave a Legacy in your community on May 5th!

UPDATE

Boston Pizza - A great success and a lot of fun.  A total of $550.00 was raised from our evening. With our matching incentive from Let Them Be Kid's, we now have $1100.00 in buying power for our play structure!

Boston Pizza Fun' raiser a success

If you attended Boston Pizza's fun' raising event last night, we thank you for your support.  Lots of family’s out enjoying a great evening being served by staff from JL Jordan Catholic School.  Thank you to the staff who served last night, you all did a wonderful job.  Thank you Mrs. Hart for putting together all the raffle baskets, they were a big hit.  Thank you to Boston Pizza for their help in making this event a great success and showing interest in supporting our project. Thanks to everyone behind the scenes for making this event happen, couldn’t have done it without your hard work and dedication.  This event was truly great to be a part of. If you missed this event, please see upcoming events to see what we have planned next.  Well done everyone on a successful evening full of fun and memories!

 We raised $250.00 which is $500.00 in buying power for our playground, from our raffles and bracelet sales.  Boston Pizza will be giving us 10% on all orders from 5-8pm and we will announce what we raised early next week!  Thanks to everyone behind the scenes for making this event happen, couldn’t have done it without everyone’s hard work and dedication.

Boston Pizza Celebrity Server Night

This Wednesday February 8th, 2012 come to Boston Pizza and support the Leave a Legacy Project ! If you go to Boston Pizza from 5-8pm, 10% of your order will be donated to te Leave a Legacy Project.  Teachers and support staff from JL Jordan Catholic school will help serve for the evening! Bring friends and family and make it a fun evening for everyone and best of all you help out your community.
